Latula Pyrope is the Knight of Mind in the alpha Sburb/Sgrub session. She's the alpha counterpart/ancestor of Terezi Pyrope, Seer of Mind in Alternia.
Her classpect mirrors Terezi's and Karkat's class, same with Kankri. Terezi is a Seer while Karkat is a Knight. Kankri is a Seer while Latula is a Knight.
Both Latula and Terezi have a disability, Terezi being blind and Latula being anosmic (unable to smell).
While not having any visual impairment (from what the comic lets us know), she still wears red glasses similar to Terezi's.
Her name, Latula, is derived from Tula, the Hindu sign for Libra. Her name could also come from a skateboard named Lush Tula (created by Lush Longboards), though it's only a fan theory due to Latula being a skateboarder.
Her typing quirk is similar to Terezi's, just that — unlike her descendant — she mostly types in lowercase with rare exceptions. She uses four exclamation or question marks whenever she feels strong emotions. She removes the 'i' in 'girl'. She uses emoticons, such as — for example — >8]
She takes meds, as stated in her interaction with Porrim during Openbound part 1 (Act 6 Intermission 3). "1ts k1nd of str3ssful som3t1m3s, k33p1ng 1t up! som3t1m3s 1 forg3t to put z33s on th3 3nd of words, 4nd 1 r34lly str3ss out 4bout 1t." "#sp3c14lly wh3n 1m off my m3ds".
The whole "rad girl" persona is a hoax. One of the only people (if not the only one) who lets her be herself is Porrim.
